Jose Colon

 

...is currently employed by the York Housing Authority.  He served as a Manager of Housing Services for Intercultural Family Services in Philadelphia before moving to York.  Jose has his real estate license and is an associate with Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA.  At the York Housing Authority he is responsible for receiving, reviewing, processing and approving applications for the Section 8, Public Housing and Single Room Occupancy Programs.  He provides bilingual assistance to both clients and employees and he serves as the IT Backup Person.  He also serves as the Vice-President of the Centro Hispano de Jose Hernandez (formerly the York Spanish American Center) for the last two years.  He lives in Dallastown with his wife Keila, a teacher at Lincoln Charter School, and their three kids (two boys and one girl).
