Carol Anderson

 

...retired from the York County Chapter of the American Red Cross where she served as Coordinator of Volunteer Services and Director of Human Resources.  After graduating from York City Schools, The College of William and Mary and studying a year at University College, London, she taught one year at Edgar Fahs Smith and later worked as a Financial Secretary at St. Matthew Lutheran Church.  She has served as a member of the Board of The Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, Planned Parenthood, AAUW, and YADC, and has worked with the Junior League of York, Crispus Attucks, the York Woman's Club, and the Democratic Party.  She lives with her husband William, with whom she has raised four children, three of whom are in non-profit/public service employment.
